Sirens, radios, hazard mitigation, and AEDs are on the agenda for the Washington County Emergency Management Commission. A hazard mitigation plan update will be provided. The commission will discuss the deployment of the automated external defibrillation (AED) equipment, and will review the emergency siren system updates that took place recently. The invoices associated with the sirens total $284,644.66. 

The E911 Services and Communications joint board meeting also includes staffing updates. The Washington County Emergency Management Director position is open and has been posted by the county. Applications are due by April 11th. Previous Director Marissa Reisen stepped down in March.

The commission meeting begins at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Washington County Emergency Operations Center.
