The Washington Demons cruised to victory in girls’ soccer Friday night, topping Central Lee 4-0. Washington doubled a 2-0 lead they had already built by halftime thanks in part to senior Angeline Anderson, who notched a hat trick with three goals.

Junior Jocci Carter also scored her second goal of the season, while seniors Maya Murphy and Ana Mata had assists to help the Demons end a streak of back-to-back losses. Now carrying a record of 3-2, Washington will look to get their first conference win of the season when they next play tonight at Mount Pleasant.
