Saturday, the Washington County 4-H County Council is sponsoring an Iowa Junior Beef Breeds Association (IJBBA) sanctioned open cattle show at the Washington County Fairgrounds. The show includes two show rings, two judges and prize money. Exhibitors have a chance to be a part of two shows, both are open to youth up to those 21-years of age. It presents a chance for youth to compete against those from other counties, work more with their cattle, and gain experience. Registration and check-in are from 7-8:30 a.m. Saturday, April 19th. The first show begins at 11 a.m. with the second to follow. Health papers are required on all animals. For more information and to pre-register visit ijbba.com.
