A pair of KCII area schools will be at the Tiger Relays tonight in Tipton. In recent action, the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk boys ran at the Mike Kautz Invitational at Lone Tree Monday where they were third with 77 points, led by titles from Josh Turner in high jump and the 4×100 team of Kaden and Kendrick Kos, Nolan Jergens and Ryan Henry. They were also in action Saturday at the Eastern Iowa Track and Field Festival at Iowa City West where they posted 13 top 10 finishes including wins in the wheelchair 100, 200 and 400 for Jayden Stafford, fourth the shuttle hurdle team of Cash Brown, Kendrick Kos, Thomas Lueck and Carson Humphrey, fourth for Burke Berry in shot put and the 4×8 team of Preston Yutzy, Emmett Swartzentruber, Thomas Flynn and Jayse Yoder and fifth for Brown in long jump.

The Golden Hawk girls took their full team to the Jane Astor Relays at Clear Creek Amana where they finished second as a group, highlighted by individual titles for Jeorgia Evans in the 100 and 200, and Rachel Hostetler in the 3000. At Iowa City West Saturday, Dessa Poll was fourth in discus, Hostetler fifth and Kendal Landstrum eighth in the 800.

The Sigourney girls ran Monday at the Ruth Ahrens Invitational at Iowa Valley, finishing eighth of nine teams with 14 points. Ellie Yates went third and fifth in the 3000, Josephine Moore fifth in shot put and Cloee Wilson was sixth in the 1500. The Sigourney boys were fourth as a team as the Steve Ehret Relays at North Mahaska. Jayden Thompson won the shot put and went second in discus. Troy Klett won the mile and was second in the 400. Caden Clarahan placed second in the 110 hurdles as did the shuttle hurdle relay.

The Hawks and Savages are joined tonight in Tipton by Durant, West Liberty, Wilton and the home Tigers. Action starts tonight at 4:30p.m. And continues into the evening in Tipton.
