Over 250 people attended the third annual Farm to Film Festival in Washington last weekend. According to the event organizers the grand total attendance came in at 261. There were 93 who saw the film Silent Night in Algona, 53 who attended the filmmaker’s reception, and 61 who took in a film history program presented by Mike Zahs. 

The festival was held in downtown Washington, which was recently named to the state’s register of Cultural and Entertainment Districts. This year the festival has received official designation as an Iowa Certified Film Festival under Produce Iowa, a program of the Iowa Economic Development Authority.
