20 members of the Mid-Prairie chapter of the Future Farmers of America traveled to Ames last week for the 2025 Iowa FFA Leadership Conference.

Mid-Prairie students Tate Bombei, Ellie Callahan, Quinn Callahan, Brock Fisher, Peighton Ford, Callie Huber, Dylan Humphrey, Adelyn Huston, Caedyn Huston, Averi Janecek, Sydney Knebel, Brynn Northup, Bowen Pennington, Kennah Robertson, Cuyler Rourke, Charlotte Sieren , Madelyn Sieren, Allie Whetstine, Jason Yoder and Brynn Younge participated in leadership and career development events and competed in various events. 

Golden Hawks who finished in the top 10 include: Ford fourth place in the talent competition; Sieren and Whetstine fifth place in agricultural biology; and the team of Callahan Fisher, Northup and Young took seventh place in the Ag Sales Skills.
