
Following a two-vehicle wreck in Riverside one person was arrested on methamphetamine charges. According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, at 6:38 p.m. on Saturday, two vehicles collided on a Highway 218 ramp. There were no injuries.
The two drivers were 44-year old Lisa Lansaw of Clear Lake and 28-year old Heimy Vasquez Rodriguez of Iowa City.
Lansaw was arrested. She faces charges of driving while license suspended times eight, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine first offense, and failure to provide proof of financial liability – accident related. Further charges are pending lab results.
Lansaw was taken to the Washington County Jail. One vehicle was towed from the scene.
