An Ainsworth woman was arrested after hitting a patrol car early Sunday morning. According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, at 1:30 a.m. a deputy reported a vehicle had just backed into his patrol car. The incident happened in the 200 block of North Railroad Street in Ainsworth.

The deputy checked the driver’s sobriety and arrested 48-year old Denise Rathmel for operating while intoxicated first offense, striking an unattended vehicle, and open container. She was taken to the Washington County Jail.
