On April 25^th, 2025, KCII News reported that an agreement that had been negotiated between the Highland School District and the union representing the Highland Teachers had been enacted as a binding agreement. Sources involved in the story tell KCII News the agreement is tentative pending votes by both sides involved, and if enacted, would become official at the Highland School Board’s meeting next month.
