A man was arrested after going 100 miles per hour on a motorcycle and leading law enforcement on a  pursuit late Wednesday. According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, at 11:41 p.m., a deputy attempted to stop a motorcycle on Highway 218 and the driver refused to stop. The incident began in Riverside and the motorcycle came to a stop in Henry County.

Authorities arrested 40-year old Justin Sallee of Salem. He’s charged with eluding, operating while intoxicated second offense, driving while license barred times six, interference with official acts, speeding 100 miles per hour or over in a 65 mile per hour zone, expired registration, improper rear lamp, and violation of license restrictions.

Sallee was taken to the Washington County Jail.

The Iowa State Patrol assisted the local authorities.
