The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk girls track and field team hosted Senior Night Thursday at Dwight G. Sattler Field in Wellman and ran away with the team championship. The Hawks scored 175 points, besting second place Williamsburg’s 125. Mid-Prairie had eight event championships on the evening. Rachel Hostetler won the 800 in 2:26.40, Sophie Miller beat the field in the 100 hurdles in 16.59 seconds. Brooklyn Stutzman won the 3000 in 10:49.10 and Harper Pacha was discus champ with a throw of 107’4”. Champion relays included the 4×4, 4×8, distance medley and shuttle hurdle, in times of 4:27.41, 9:55.45, 4:29.84 and 1:09.94 respectively.

Runner-up events included Myli Hershberger in the 200, Stutzman in the 800, Tessa Bombei in the 100 hurdles, Ruby Miller in the 400 hurdles, Claire Trimpe in long jump and Pacha in shot put. In third were Hannah Rodgers in the 200, Kendall Landstrum in the 1500, Ruby Miller in high jump and the 4×100 and 4×200 teams.
