The WACO Warriors and Columbus Wildcats hit the links Thursday at Twin Lakes Golf Course in Winfield. While there was no team competition, WACO freshman Ian Maize was the meet medalist by shooting a seven-over-par 42.

Sophomore Malachi Rinner was only stroke behind him in second, while junior Kellen Shelman added a 54 for the Warriors. Columbus was led by senior Ryan Coil and junior Kason Dopler, who finished tied for third overall by each firing a 49.

Sophomore Mason Hardy carded a 56 for the Wildcats and senior Payton White finished with 57. On the girls’ side, junior Morgan Meyer had WACO’s best round with a 51.
