The City of Wellman’s community meal will only be served three days a week instead of five, beginning on May 5.

The meal, which was previously served every weekday, will now only be served only on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

The meal is served out of the Goodwin Center in Wellman and costs $8. It can be eaten in, taken out, or delivered within the city. Residents wishing to participate in the meal should make reservations the day before by 9 a.m. by calling 319-646-2711.
