Drought conditions remained the same across Iowa this week compared to last week, according to the U.S. Drought Monitor. At this time, nearly 20% of the state is experiencing severe drought, including most of Keokuk, Iowa and Johnson counties, as well as the northwest corner of Washington County. Most of Southeast Iowa remains in a moderate drought.
