The Washington Public Library is preparing programs for Fiber Arts February. Teen Services and Library Assistant LeAnn Kunz explains that during this annual event, the library hosts programs regarding knitting, crocheting and sewing. At this time the library is collecting fiber arts food for a display, the items will then be donated to the children’s room of the library for the kids to play with.
Some of the other programs include a wet felting workshop, knitting in the round and a recycle runway for teens where they recycle old books to make dresses.
For a complete calendar of the classes visit the library or their website.
