Administrators at Highland School District now have a tool to use when bullying occurs. Superintendent Chris Armstrong says it was developed using information gathered at a workshop on bullying some of the district’s principals attended last summer. What they created is a step-by-step procedure that staff can use to determine if an incident involved bullying, and then decide the right course of action to take with the perpetrator. Armstrong says the appropriate consequence will depend on the situation.
