The Mid-Prairie Large Group Speech team is heading back to the state competition. Over this past weekend, the high school speech team competed at the Iowa High School Speech Association Large Group District contest in Wapello. Nine of the team’s eleven entries received a “1” ratings. They’re now advancing to the State competition on February 8th at Linn-Mar High School. Last year, Mid-Prairie sent four groups to state.
