At least a couple of Washington residents are unhappy with the city’s snow removal. Brad Haifley was one such resident who aired complaints about the use of snow plows at a recent city council meeting. He says it took three days after a snowstorm before a portion of North Iowa Avenue was plowed. Another resident, Richard Gilmore, says city plows have wreaked havoc on his lawn. Councilors say they’ll bring the complaints to the attention of the maintenance and construction department.
