The Iowa Mennonite School boys’ golf team went to Cedar Crest Country Club in Columbus yesterday to take on the Wildcats. The Wildcats were victorious with Columbus scoring a 158 to 235.

IMS was lead by sophomore Drake Brezina with a score of 48. Rounding out the scoring for IMS was sophomores Roman Slabach with 55, Caleb Yoder 62, freshmens Mark Ecklor 70 and Palmer Thomas with 73.

The Wildcats were led by senior Chase Finke with a score of 38 just three shy of par on the nine hole course.

IMS’s next golf meet will be on Monday for a triangular with Keota and English Valleys at the Lagos Acres Golf Course in Keota. Columbus will next compete tomorrow as they take on the Washington Demons in an invitational at the Washington Golf and Country Club.
