Last night, the Washington County Riverboat Foundation awarded their summer mini-grants to area organizations. In total 48 grants were presented for $95,646. Area organizations were able to apply for up to $2,000 for projects. Executive assistant Jim Logan tells KCII News only 65 applications were received for this session, a low number compared to most mini-grant sessions. Last summer the foundation awarded nearly $100,000 to 52 organizations.
