The Highland Huskies opened their Southeast Iowa Superconference volleyball schedule Thursday night with a win over area school WACO.

The Huskies beat the Warriors in four games 19-25, 25-16, 26-24 and 25-10. Highland was led in the contest by Briana Davis with eight kills. Jenna Dresselhaus had 16 assists and Kelsey Hora added 12 digs.

Leaders for the Warriors included Molly Edgar, Mayme Hinh and Libby Skriver all with five kills. Halle Kissel had 14 assists and Cierra McArtor added 16 digs. With the win Highland is now 6-3 on the season, WACO falls to 2-3.
