Three seats on the Washington County Board of Supervisors, and the offices of auditor and sheriff will be on the ballot in November. Nomination papers are now available at the Washington County Auditor’s Office for the various county positions and the primary will be held June 7th. Dan Widmer currently holds the office of auditor and Jerry Dunbar is sheriff. Dunbar has announced he will be retiring in December and not seeking re-election. The supervisors seats on the ballot are for Districts 1, 2 and 4, which are currently held by Jack Seward, Bob Yoder and Stan Stoops.
Nomination papers for any of these positions can be picked up at the auditor’s office or can be found here, they are due with an affidavit of candidacy by 5 p.m. March 30th.
