Eight counties make up the Southeast Iowa Link mental health and disability services region and each county’s board of supervisors will consider a resolution updating the 28E agreement. Bobbie Wulf, director of disability services in Washington County, explained there were three changes. One was to have a voice vote except on resolutions, the second was to change language referring to the Central Point of Coordination position as it has been changed to mental health and disability services director, and the third regraded the CEO. Supervisor Jack Seward who sits on the SEIL board said it was to improve efficiency. The CEO is one of the mental health directors in the region. The region includes Washington, Keokuk, Louisa, Jefferson, Henry, Des Moines, Van Buren and Lee counties.
