The Iowa Mennonite School girls basketball team received three All-Southeast Iowa Superconference basketball selections last week.Second team honors went to IMS freshman Suzanna Yoder. Yoder turned in a phenomenal first year leading IMS in scoring at eight points per game, rebounding with 108 for the season and assists with 45.

The lone senior on the Iowa Mennonite girls team, Jess Bender, was an honorable mention all conference selection. Bender averaged five points per game, pulled in 73 rebounds and led the Superconference north with 71 blocks on the season.

Sophomore Rachel Miller was also an honorable mention selection. Miller averaged seven points per game, dished out 25 assists and led IMS in three point shooting, knocking down 23 triples on the season, 11th most in the conference, shooting at a 24% clip from beyond the arc.

Iowa Mennonite ended their season with a 1-19 overall record. They were eliminated in the first round of regionals on February 11th in Lone Tree, falling to the Lady Lions 62-27.
