Four Iowa Mennonite School students in this year’s Culinary Arts class are treating area patrons to a restaurant experience from around the world. Students Eli Gingerich, Natalie Graber, Rosina Ropp and Jenna Boller are inviting community members to the Rise and Shine Cafe, a unique dining experience operated by students. This spring the class is presenting restaurant experiences including a French Patisserie Brunch on March 23rd, Down Home Breakfast March 30th, English Tea Brunch April 20th, and a Mexican Fiesta Breakfast April 27th.
All of the events are hosted at IMS and cost is $8 per person. The first two dates on the calendar are already sold out. If you would like to make a reservation for the remaining meals call 319-656-2073.
