Crews will be working on bridges in rural Washington County next week, including three on Ginkgo Avenue near Wellman. Jacob Thorius, Washington County Engineer, explained they’ll be leveling the approaches to the bridges to improve safety. He said at this week’s Washington County Board of Supervisors meeting that the bridges to be worked on include Fishers Bridge, the Bunkerhill Bridge, the Daytonville Bridge and then some work on Spruce Avenue south of Highway 92. The work is expected to start Wednesday.

– Culvert on W38, Ginkgo Avenue, about 0.5 miles south of 170th Street
– Bridge on W21, Dogwood Avenue, about 0.5 miles south of the county line
– Bridge on W38, Ginkgo Avenue, about 0.25 miles north of 110th Street
– G6W, Spruce Avenue, around the intersection with Old White Way
