The Keota and Iowa Mennonite School boys and girls golf teams were in action this week along with BGM in a triangular meet at Lagos Acres Golf Course in Keota.
On the girls side Iowa Mennonite grabbed their first win of the season with a team score of 240. Lara Kliewer led IMS with her round of 54 taking medalist runner up honors. Other scores for Iowa Mennonite included Gretta Rempel with a 56, Lidiya Kravchuck at 58 and Peyton Hart with a 72.
The Eagles were led by Grace Shemanski who took meet medalist honors with her low round 51. Other scores for Keota included Elise Swanstrom with a 61, Cortney Hyman at 65, Luaren Imhoff with a 68 and Kaylin Swanson at 71.
On the boys side of the event, BGM took the team title with a 172. The Bears were led by meet medalist Keaton Rhinehart’s 39. Keota was second with their team score of 196. The low round for the Eagles came from Avery Conrad with a 45. Other scores for Keota included Anthony Campbell with a 47, Zach Mousel at 48, Cole Stout with a 56 and Jace Uphold at 67.
Iowa Mennonite finished with a 199. They were led by meet medalist runner up Roman Slabach and his 43. Other scores for IMS included Trevor Leyden at 49, Drake Brezina with a 52, Caleb Yoder at 55, Adrian Gonzales at 59 and Palmer Thomas with a 68.
