Multiple emergency crews responded to a two-story house fire near Washington this afternoon. The fire was reported around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday west of Greiner Buildings along 250th Street, or Old Highway 92. The fire was about two miles west of Washington.

KCII News reported seeing flames and black smoke billowing out of the house upon arrival. Members of Washington Fire, Brighton Fire, Keota Fire, Washington County Sheriff’s Office, Washington County Ambulance, and Alliant Energy were on the scene.
