The 40th Annual Keokuk County Exposition concluded Saturday, and organizers felt it was a success. While they don’t keep official attendance numbers for the four-day event, Expo Board secretary Dana Abell said they had one of their best turnouts. Overall, she said the 4-H and FFA kids did an excellent job with their exhibits and projects, and she encourages people to come back next year. Grace Shemanski of Keota was crowned the Keokuk County Expo Queen Thursday night. Other highlights included the Hells Bells concert Friday, and the figure eight racing Saturday. The KCII Big Red Radio was at the Expo Wednesday and Thursday.
