The superintendent’s goals for the school year will be set at Wednesday’s regular session meeting of the Washington School Board. The board will also consider a trip request for the FFA National Convention, fall Washington County Riverboat Foundation grant applications and a resolution for special education allowable growth. The resolution, if approved, is for “allowable growth and supplemental aid for a negative special education balance not to exceed $250,000” for the school year that ended June 30th of this year. In addition seven new hires will be considered. The meeting begins at 7 p.m. at Central Office.
