The Iowa Association of Track Coaches has released the latest set of statewide cross country rankings.

The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks are represented on both the girls and boys side in team rankings. The Mid-Prairie boys check in at No. 3 in class 2A in the latest poll after their runner-up finish in Monticello on Saturday. The Mid-Prairie girls are ranked No. 10 in class 2A. They also had a nice showing Saturday in Monticello placing fifth.

In Individual rankings, Anna Hostetler of Mid-Prairie No. 1 in the state in class 2A. The junior has won each meet that she has participated in this fall. Marie Hostetler, Anna’s younger sister, stands at No. 3 in the class 2A individual ratings. The two runners shared KCII Hedge Above Lawncare Athlete of the Week honors this week.

Peyton Miller of Mid-Prairie is currently rated 13th in the latest boys class 2A rankings, his teammate Floyd Evans is 17th in the state.

Mid-Prairie will next be on the course Monday at Solon.
