The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk boys and girls cross country teams were in action at Solon on Monday.
The Golden Hawk boys finished as runners up in the team standings with their score of 81 points. Mount Vernon-Lisbon took the team title with 37 points. Best individual finish for Mid-Prairie came from Peyton Miller who took the individual silver medal with his runner up time of 17:20. Other finishers for the Hawks included Floyd Evans fifth, Zach Pettit 18th, Quinn Schmidt 24th, Andrew Schwartz 32nd, Brent Foster 37th, and Marshal Teets 42nd.
The Mid-Prairie girls took third place in the nine team field with their overall score of 95 points. North Scott took the championship with 33 points. Top finisher for the Golden Hawks was Anna Hostetler who won the individual meet championship with her time of 19:21. Other finishers for Mid-Prairie included Marie Hostetler as individual runner up, Abbagail Evans 22nd, Greta Schmidt 36th, Abby Tornow 37th, and Kessa Jones 47th.
The Golden Hawks will next be in action Monday at Centennial Park in North Liberty.
