Washington County’s 4-H and Youth Coordinator was part of a team recently awarded at the state level. Amy Green is part of the team for Iowa State University Extension and Outreach’s Region 15 that was presented an Outstanding Team Award. The team included outreach educators from Washington, Iowa, Johnson and Keokuk counties. It was presented for their work in facilitating the Clover University Regional STEM Camps. The four counties worked together to share materials and curriculum to provide four camps in each county, maximizing efficiency in the fields of science, technology, engineering and math.
