Eggs, milk, sausage and lots of pancake mix are on hand for Wednesday’s Washington Fire Department’s annual pancake fundraiser. Last year nearly 1,700 meals were served between lunch and dinner. The department had 4,500 eggs and 92 gallons of milk on hand for last year’s event. The money raised with the pancake, egg and sausage meals go to the Washington Fire Department. If you’re hungry, it’ll be open from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the fire station. Tickets can be purchased in advance for $7 for adults and $5 for children at the Washington Fire Hall, Glandons Westside Service, Washington State Bank, or from any Fire Department member.
