The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk wrestling team traveled to Gladbrook-Reinbeck Saturday for tournament action.

The Golden Hawks finished fourth in the six team field with a score of 197 points. Dike-New Hartford won the team title with 351 points. Mid-Prairie crowned three champions on the day. Duncan McCain took the title at 132lbs beating Riley Hershey of Oelwein in the championship match by fall. Visouth Peterschmidt claimed the title at 195lbs with a tech fall against Daniel Graves of Dike-New Hartford. Jason Tew was a champion at 220lbs, beating Ethan Huntington of Dike-New Hartford by a 4-1 decision. Other top finishers for the Golden Hawks included David Murray third at 138lbs and Brent Foster third at 152lbs. The Golden Hawks will next be in action Thursday when they host Cascade for a River Valley Conference dual.
