If you’re looking to improve stress management and communication in your life, a new free program is coming to the Washington Public Library beginning Monday. The four-week program is the Personal Empowerment and Transformation Group. The PET group is being held in partnership with the library and Prelude Behavioral Services.
Director of the library, Debbie Stanton shares it is an informal gathering with the conversations led by staff but driven by those in attendance. Sessions will discuss improving communication, parenting with appropriate discipline, stress management and how to have tough conversations about risky behaviors.
The group will meet Mondays from 6-7:30 p.m. beginning this coming Monday, January 23rd. Free food and childcare will be provided. Contact the library to register.
