Everyone escaped a fire at a trailer home south of Washington early Tuesday morning. According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, the trailer was fully engulfed at 1:30 a.m. in the 2600 block of Wayland Road, less than a mile south of town. Washington Fire Department extinguished the flames. Washington County Sheriff’s personnel, Washington Police Department and Alliant Energy responded to the scene. Also, the Red Cross is assisting.
