Four state legislators will meet with constituents in Washington Saturday for the third and final legislative briefing of the session. Democratic Senators Kevin Kinney and Rich Taylor, along with Republican Representatives Jarad Klein and Dave Heaton will be in attendance and provided updates from the state capitol. Those in the audience will have the opportunity to ask questions of the legislators. At February’s briefing collective bargaining, education funding, water quality and tax structures were discussed. The briefing will be held in the second floor courtroom in the Washington County Courthouse from 10 a.m. to noon.
