The Keota baseball team named three players to the South Iowa Cedar League All-Conference teams.
Senior Anthony Campbell headlined the action being selected to the second team as an infielder. Campbell posted a .349 batting average and led the team with 19 RBI. He had a keen eye at the plate working a team-high 15 walks that translated to an impressive .500 on base percentage.
Austin Waterhouse was recognized as an honorable mention. The sophomore had a .310 batting average and eight RBI. Waterhouse was also a key player on the bump, as he managed a 4.62 ERA in 33 innings of work. Jack Eakins was also named an honorable mention. The junior was a big boost offensively with a team-high .391 batting average and 26 runs scored. He was always a threat on the base paths with 12 stolen bases in 13 attempts.
Keota finished seventh in the SICL with a record of 10-11 and lose Campbell to graduation.
