The Iowa Mennonite boys basketball program held their annual camp last week and recognized area athletes for their hard work.
Camp contest award winners included Chris Miller, Wilx Witthoff, Kasen Bailey, Madox Doehrmann, Holden Amaman and Landry Gingerich in one on one play. In the horse contest, Brody Miller, Andre Miller, Kasen Bailey, Madox Doehrmann, Mason James and Landry Gingerich were winners. Free throw contest winners were Logan Stutzman, John Hughes, Carter Harmsen, Drew Horak, Holden Amaman and Landon Kos. Spot shooting champs were Drew Blauvelt, Carson Huedepohl, Kasen Bailey, Alex Bean, Holden Amaman and Noah Rhodes. Best defender went to Jacob Nonnenmann, Ben Cooper, Jacob Miller, Dalton Whitehill and Landry Gingerich. The Mr. Hustle Award went to Drew Blauvelt, Wilx Witthoff, Will Cavanagh and Jace Rempel. Best Rebounders were Logan Harmsen, London Schrock, Lance Sobaski, Cody Graber, Braden Plotz and Landon Kos. Mr. Fundamental winners were Chris Miller, Eli Ours, Kasen Bailey, Madox Doehrmann, Holden Amaman and Ace Peck. Most Outstanding Camper Awards went to Kobe Borntrager, Andre Miller, Carter Harmsen, Alex Bean and Brock Harland. The IMS basketball camp was staffed by Dwight Gingerich, Aaron Gingerich, Randy Miller, Eli Gingerich, Nick Yutzy, Caleb Gingerich, Reggie Borntrager, Cole Ours, Mitchell Schmeider, Cody Jones, Trevor Leyden and Jeremy Niemeyer.
