Description: Louisa County Conservation continues their archaeology program series with “Small-Scale LiDAR Approaches to Iowa Archaeology” on Thursday, September 14 from 6-7 p.m. Light Detecting and Ranging (LiDAR) is used to collect data on various sites across the state. This presentation will discuss the use of LiDAR as applied to burial mounds, a historic creamery, as well as some experimental work. This event is free and open to the public.
