Grab some tomatoes, peppers, onions, cilantro and some secret ingredients to create a batch of salsa for an annual contest in Washington.

The 18th Annual Tasters Choice Salsa Contest will be held during this Thursday’s Washington Farmers’ Market. Anyone is welcome to bring a salsa they create to take part in the contest or to stop by to be a judge. The salsa recipes will be tasted and voted on by the customers of the market. The Washington Farmers’ Market is held 5-7 p.m. in Central Park.
