The Winfield-Mt. Union volleyball team competed in a tournament at Wilton on Saturday.

The Wolves dropped four contests to Durant (25-20, 25-17), Iowa Mennonite School (27-25, 25-20), Mount Pleasant (25-15, 25-12), and the host Beavers (25-5, 25-9). Leading the way offensively for the Wolves was Lexee Hartsock with 12 kills and Jenna Buffington added nine. Buffington was 15 of 17 serving on the day including three aces. Lauren Jamison accounted for 27 assists. Defensively Hartsock had tallied four blocks and Kyndal Townsley covered a lot of ground with 28 digs.

After the contests, Winfield Mt. Union’s record falls to 4-9 overall, with a 2-1 conference record. The Wolves get back on the court today traveling to Louisa- Muscatine (2-11).
