A Burlington man was found guilty Wednesday of delivering methamphetamine to an undercover law officer.
According to the Washington County Attorney’s Office, 25-year-old Eric McIntosh, Jr., was found guilty of delivery of methamphetamine in an amount exceeding five grams, but not more than five kilograms, which is a class B felony. He is now in the Washington County Jail waiting for sentencing, where he could face up to 25 years in prison. On July 27th in Riverside, McIntosh was arrested after delivering 124.97 grams of meth to an officer.
The arrest was part of a joint investigation conducted by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, Iowa Division of Narcotics Enforcement, Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation, Henry County Sheriff’s Office, South East Iowa Narcotics Task Force, and Johnson County Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Task Force.
