This week students at Columbus High School were recognized for their work in athletics and the classroom this fall.

Students who earned All-Southeast Iowa Superconference academic honors had to maintain at least a 3.50 GPA while participating in volleyball, football or cross country as a player, manager or cheer leader. At Columbus those students were Vivi Anaya, Jenessa Carpenter, Johnny Espinosa, Martha Garcia, Hunter Humiston, Nayell Martinez, Ingrid Montero, Coletrane Sipes, Odalyz Valdez, Grace Watson, Owen Watson, Kayla Beenen, Angelique Byas, Michelle Diaz, Anna Hamilton, Taylor Howell, Celia King, Jobie Lekwa, Vanessa Mena, Maki Mendenhall, Emma Milder, Guadalupe Montiel, Angela Roman, Grace Rotter, Britney Villasenor and Courtney Zaehringer.
