The Mid-Prairie boys track team made the trip to Dubuque Senior High School Thursday for the Harold Sweet Invitational.

The Golden Hawks finished eighth of 16 teams with 35 points. Cedar Rapids Kennedy won the meet with 111 points. Top finishes for the Golden Hawks included a runner-up for Floyd Evans in the 1600 and a second place from the weight man relay of Jack Baker, Micah Gugel, Jacob Leonard and Jacob Busch. Evans was third in the 3200, Kyle Miller was third in the high jump, the distance medley team of Peyton Miller, Grant Boyse, Cary Schaefer and Marshall Teets were third and the 4×400 team of Miller, Boyse, Schaefer and Quinn Schmidt was fifth.
