Live music and kids’ activities were enjoyed at Kalona Days this weekend with the theme “Celebrate Our Roots.”

Kalona residents pounded the pavement Saturday morning with a fun run, and the festivities continued with a parade, kids’ tent, one-on-one basketball tournament, kiddie tractor pull and more. The KCII Big Red Radio took part in the fun-filled Saturday, broadcasting live from Kalona Days as part of the KCII Summer Town Tour. The Big Red Radio will be “beaming up” to Riverside this Saturday for the annual Trekfest.
