Severe weather and flash flooding remains possible today throughout southeast Iowa.

According to the National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center, a slight risk of severe weather remains in place through the late evening hours. The primary threats are large hail and strong winds. Additionally, a flash flood watch remains in place until 7 a.m. Wednesday. Widespread rainfall amounts between 1-3″ are possible.
