The Washington Demon football team is hot off a thrilling overtime win last week to move their win streak to two games.  They’ll look to ride that momentum into Keokuk tonight when they open up district play against the Chiefs.

Washington looks to move their record to above .500; a third straight win would bump them up to 3-2 on the season.  The Demons  have only seen road action once so far this season, traveling to Oskaloosa in week two and falling 30-20.

Since that game, all of the action has come at Case Field, and the Demons have seemingly found a new identity.  Cade Hennigan is one of the captains of this Demon team, and he says when the team is gelling like they have been the last two weeks, look out.

“When we’re firing on all cylindars and we’re coming together like that, there’s not a whole lot of teams that can play with us,” Hennigan said.

Tonight’s game in Keokuk will be broadcast live on FM 106.1 and KCIIradio.com starting with the Washington HyVee Pregame Show at 6:30.  Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00.
