The Iowa Association of Track Coaches released their most recent poll this week and the Mid-Prairie girls remain in the number one spot of the 2A team rankings.

The Golden Hawk girls were most recently in action in Solon where they placed seventh in a field loaded with 3A and 4A competition. The Golden Hawks are led by Marie Hostetler who, despite suffering her first individual loss of the year at Monday’s Solon meet remains in the top spot. Other Hawks in the rankings include Mitzi Evans seventh, Ana Fleming 22nd, and Mariah Brase 28th. The Golden Hawks will next be in action Monday at the Clear Creek Classic in Iowa City.
